Lift Trucks Announces Two New Promotions
Regional Sales Manager / Branch Manager for Tampa Lift Trucks Appointed

Tampa, Florida – Curtis McClellan, Senior Vice President and Director of Lift Trucks, is pleased to announce Scotty Barrett as the new Regional Sales Manager / Branch Manager for Tampa Lift Trucks operations. Barrett joined the Ring Power team in May, 1996 following a 25-year career as an Army aviation officer and personnel specialist. During his 13 + years with the dealership he has worked as a Training instructor, Product Support Sales Representative, Six Sigma Black Belt and most recently as the company Environmental Manager.


Barrett's experience managing people and equipment coupled with his customer focused knowledge will make him a great asset to the Lift Trucks team.



Ring Power Corporation appoints Service Manager for Tampa Lift Trucks

Tampa, Florida – Curtis McClellan, Senior Vice President and Director of Lift Trucks, is pleased to announce Chris Stephenson as the new Service Manager for Tampa Lift Truck operations. Chris has most recently worked as Fleet and Safety Manager for WDG Construction. Prior to his employment with WDG Chris worked for Ring Power in the Brooksville branch with 7 years of parts experience and 3 years as Field Service Supervisor.


Stephenson is extremely driven to offer the best in customer service and his work ethic and desire to affect change will be welcomed in the Tampa Branch.

New P17500-P36000 Series Offers Powerful Performance for Demanding Applications

Cat Lift Trucks, a leading brand of lift trucks known for its quality, reliability and customer service, introduces the P17500 - P36000 series diesel pneumatic tire lift truck.


Featuring a new turbocharged engine, hydraulic fingertip control system and ergonomic styling, the new series continues to provide the solutions and support that Cat® lift truck customers have come to expect. 


With six different capacities ranging from 17,500 to 36,000 lbs., these trucks are ready to tackle the most demanding customer applications. For optimal performance, the P17500 - P36000 relies on the turbocharged diesel engine equipped with a common rail fuel delivery system that assures even and high pressure fuel delivery to all six cylinders allowing for swift acceleration, low noise and reliable performance. The P36000 also features standard oil cooled wet disc brakes.


Specifically designed with operator convenience in mind, the new easy-to-use hydraulic fingertip control helps enhance productivity and reduce operator fatigue by providing increased maneuverability with minimal hand movements. The series also features a viscously mounted operator compartment, thereby significantly reducing noise and vibration levels and adding to operator comfort.

The pneumatic tire lift trucks come with service intervals up to 500 hours, doubling conventional service intervals, thereby reducing downtime and planned maintenance.
