Customer Benefits
Risk Mitigation—With several hundred machines enrolled on Fleet Maintenance Agreements, Ring Power is able to absorb the costs of uncommon high dollar failures which can wreak havoc on an individual customers budget.
Cost Avoidance—Due to Ring Power shouldering repair expense customers do not delay repairs. Issues that could grow into larger more expensive problems or safety issues are quickly addressed. This helps lower downtime and overall maintenance and repair expenses.
Improved Productivity—Having manufacturer trained technicians inspect machines and perform repairs ensures all issues are addressed regularly keeping machines more productive and operating as it should. Increased production and a typically lower per item cost of product movement can be realized.
Time Savings—Ring Power will track all Preventive Maintenance services and repairs. Customers do not have to wait for repair estimates, seek approval to spend repair dollars, argue over repair bills or track maintenance intervals. It’s handled.
Reduced Rental Expense—For a predetermined rate rental support can be included so if any repair takes longer than 2 business days a loaner unit will be provided for the cost of transportation alone. This offer excludes machine damages.
Inflation Avoidance—FMA costs are derived at today’s parts and labor rates. Customers avoid the unknown effects of inflation on their budget. Over the next several years this may have a hugely positive effect for our customers.
Improved Resale Value—Ring Power will typically offer better trade values or lease buy outs on machines we have serviced, maintained records on and where it can be verified that parts replacement was with OEM quality parts. Lower lease payments and better residual values may be achieved. We’ll ensure you experience the longest longevity at the lowest operational expense.
Extended Ownership Periods—With support of an FMA programs customers often retain units longer driving down acquisition and ownership costs. We can help determine what is appropriate for any application. -
Coverage
FMA agreements are fully customizable and may be structured to cover as much or as little as an individual customer prefers. This ensures an appropriate fit to each customer’s operation.
Typically these agreements cover from carriage to counterweights including preventive maintenance services.
Customers remain responsible for daily maintenance and inspections as well as operator effected wear items and safety items.
-
Non-Covered Items
Wear Items—Tires, Forks, Seats & Excessive Brake wear. These items are excluded as an operator typically has the greatest effect on the wear of these items and how often replacement is necessary.
Customer Damages—These are items highly difficult to predict and are caused by operator error, negligence or other unforeseen incidents.
Safety Items—Safety Items such as Strobe Lights, Horns, Light Bulbs, and Seat Belts are not covered as these items typically shut a machine down from operation when there’s an issue. These items are easily replaceable and inexpensive. Ring Power will assist in helping our customers set up a parts stocking program to ensure they have the items on hand and training to reduce any costly downtime without waiting for a technician.
By not including safety items and costs directly attributed to the operator we are able to keep the costs of our FMA as low as possible and reduce our customer’s downtime.
